Ralph Mims has been named the new girl’s head basketball coach at L.E.A.D Academy in beginning Fall 2025.

Mims, a native of Pensacola, attended high school in Maine. He was a standout basketball player, averaging 29.8 points per game and was named “Mr. Maine Basketball” in 2004. He went on to play professional basketball in Turkey, France, and the U.S.A.

“We are fortunate to have a man of Mims’ expertise and background coaching our basketball team,” said H. Frank Lay, Head of School at L.E.A.D Academy.
